Common questions. Clear answers.

How are commission tiers applied?

Tiers apply marginally. Each tranche of your monthly volume is priced at its own rate, so crossing into a new tier never re-prices the shares you already traded. Tiers reset at the start of each calendar month.

What benchmark are margin and cash rates tied to?

Both are tied to the Overnight Bank Funding Rate (OBFR). When it moves, your margin rate and your cash yield move with it, using the formulas published on this page.

What regulatory fees will I see on my statement?

You may see the Regulatory Transaction Fee on sales, the FINRA Trading Activity Fee, the Options Regulatory Fee with exchange fees, and clearing and settlement charges from NSCC and DTC. These are third-party fees passed through at cost.

Is there a minimum commission?

Every stock and ETF order carries a minimum commission of $0.25, and your total commission is always capped at 1% of the trade's notional value.
