Demo and Paper Trading Accounts

Clear Street does not currently offer demo accounts, sandbox accounts, or paper trading for either the platform or API.

All accounts on Clear Street are live accounts, and any trading activity uses real funds.

Paper trading is on our roadmap, but we do not have a timeline to share at this time.

Before placing a trade

If you want to understand how a feature works before committing funds, Omni, the in-platform AI, can help explain platform behavior and walk through workflows without requiring you to place a live order.

When to contact support

Contact support if:

  • You’re unsure whether an account you’re viewing is live or simulated.
  • You need help understanding how a feature behaves before using it with real funds.
  • You have questions about future availability of paper trading or testing environments.
