Changing your password

You can manage password and sign-in settings from the Account area when those settings are available for your user.

General path:

  1. Open Account.
  2. Go to personal settings, security settings, or sign-in settings.
  3. Select the password or sign-in option.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to update your password.

For security, do not share your current password, new password, one-time passcode, recovery code, session cookie, API key, token, or any other credential in chat.

Contact support if:

  • You do not see a password or sign-in settings option.
  • You cannot complete the password-change flow.
  • You forgot your password and cannot sign in.
  • You believe your password, account, device, API key, token, or session may be compromised.
  • You see sign-in activity you do not recognize.
